Representing Hawaii, the professional tandem surfing team of Chuck Inman and Tiffany Rabacal are the newly crowned 2011 International Tandem Surfing Association (ITSA) World Tandem Tour Champions.  This is their second international title having also won the 2008 International Surfing Association (ISA) World Championship, which is a single-event contest held every year in conjunction with the ITSA World Tandem Tour (WTT). 

Partnering together in February 2007, Chuck and Tiffany quickly climbed the ranks of international tandem surfing their first year together finishing 2nd at the 2007 ISA World Championship and 3rd on the ITSA World Tandem Tour (WTT).  Competing on the WTT has taken them to Maui (Ho'okipa), California (Huntington Beach, Oceanside & Trestles), Florida (Cocoa Beach), Australia (Noosa), Spain (Liencres), France (Biarritz, Biscarrosse & Lacanau), and of course Oahu (Waikiki).  They train around Oahu year round, but consider the classic longboard spot at Queens in Waikiki as their home break.

Career highlights in addition to their two world titles include back-to-back victories in 2010 and 2011 at both Duke's OceanFest in Waikiki and NKF Surf Fest in Cocoa Beach, two of the most prestigious stops on the World Tandem Tour.  Despite taking a hiatus in 2009, Chuck and Tiffany returned the following year with a reenergized focus on training and made a title win in 2011 their ultimate goal for the year.  With four major contest wins this season they undoubtedly charged their way to the top of the rankings and clinched the #1 spot with a large lead.  World Title...check!

For the meantime, they will continue to charge seasonal swells on The North Shore and Makaha during the winter months for fun and the occasional photo shoot.  Continue to keep an eye out for them next year!
